A Little About Us
Stuart is the one out front trying not to look harassed, Corinne is the one in the kitchen most definitely very harassed & our staff we hope tending your every need!
We took over the Station Hotel in June 2007. We have made the hotel as friendly, relaxing and enjoyable as possible. Moving from Hawick down in the Borders of Scotland to the Moray Coast was a big decision for us, especially Stuart who was born and raised in the Borders. For Corinne the move was a little easier, originally from Fochabers where her parents owned the Grant Arms Hotel, then moving to Aberdeen for many years before migrating south.
Stuart a qualified chef bizarrely worked most of his life in the knitwear industry. Corinnes's job titles are endless, qualified hairdresser, auxiliary nurse and canine beautician / dog groomer. Hence our beautiful and friendly West Highland Terrier 'Wallis' (Female as in Wallis Simpson). She will welcome everyone who she thinks has just come to visit her!! (Please don't feed her; she is watching her waist line)
Wallis although our favourite is not the only member of our family, we have a son Nikki who is a professional rugby player and lives in Wales with his partner Tracey and a daughter Sara who was with us in our first year of business but has recently left and moved to Edinburgh with her fiancé Roddy to pursue her career in law.
